Position: Sr. Analog IC Engineer

Position Number: 500-20

Location: San Diego, CA

 

Role:

Conducts analog circuit analysis, develops schematics, runs simulations, and performs layout and design verifications of IC’s for ultra low-powered RFID applications. Performs laboratory measurements using a variety of test equipment, including spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, network analyzer, and parametric analyzer. Can analyze and model data obtained in laboratory measurements involving nonlinear behavior and using MatLab or MathCad.

 

Skills/Experience:

• 3 to 5 years industry experience in analog IC design using ADS, Cadence, Simucad, or Mentor is required.

• Transistor circuit analysis and laboratory testing of IC’s is required.

• Knowledge of analog design is required including bandgaps, oscillators, variable gain amplifiers, and analog filters.

• Must have an ability to work in a team environment, and to use Microsoft office software.

• Very good communication skills required.

• Linux proficiency is desirable.

 

Educational Requirements:

BSEE with emphasis in analog circuit theory, MSEE desirable.
